Lucia is a multifaceted Italian artist, actor and director who moved to New York in 2021. Her artistic journey began with music—she started playing piano at the age of five and began vocal training at eleven. In 2020, she graduated from the Gypsy Musical Academy as a musical performer before relocating to New York to further explore her voice as an actor and director.

She is a professional musical performer, actress, and director who has taken part in numerous theater productions in both New York and Italy. A former member of the Gypsy Company, she was part of the cast that earned the golden buzzer on Italia’s Got Talent, leading to a performance in the 2019 finals of the renowned TV talent show.

In 2024, Lucia co-founded Thymos Productions alongside her business partner, Francesca Pecchi. Her mission is to create a supportive space for both American and international artists entering the theater and film industry, fostering independent productions and new creative voices.

PROJECTS

In 2024, Lucia adapted the renowned Aeschylus play The Suppliant Maidens and, in collaboration with Thymos Productions, produced a short play of the same name, which was presented at the New York Theater Festival.

As the director, she brought this physical theater piece to life with the aim of highlighting the timeless struggle for women's freedom and bodily autonomy. A powerful story of immigration and resilience, it resonated deeply with audiences in 5th-century BC Greece—just as it does today.

Among her many passions, Lucia is a classically trained pianist who has been performing for audiences since the age of six. Her deep love for classical music has remained a constant throughout her life. In addition to her performance career, she is a composer, with credits including the soundtrack for Yoanna Katsarou's production of Emilia, Rachel Botchan's Trojan Women, and Teodoro Bungaro's Hate Speech.
